Good Morning Families!
This week we are learning about the American hero Susan B. Anthony. Anthony fought for the rights of everyone in this country, including women. She and her friend Cady Stanton desired for women and African Americans to have the right to vote. Anthony did not live to see the day that women were given the right to vote, but her hard work and dedication to the effort paved the way!
Talk to your students this week about their passions. What do they wish they could change in this world? Who would they want to fight for? Caring for others is always a great quality and I hope our students learn that through the lives of these American heroes.
This week, don't forget that:
Thanksgiving lunch: Tuesday, November 17th from 11:56 - 12:26
Arts Night: Thursday, November 19th from 6:00 - 8:00
Please make sure your students arrives at 5:30 in red,
white, or blue to prepare for our performance.
Next week is Thanksgiving break! Enjoy the week off with family, friends, and lots of turkey and dressing! :)
